Wine and Design Night

A group of ladies from Westover, our church, went to Wine and Design this weekend.  Wine and Design is an Art Studio that teaches people how to paint.  A small group of us went to paint and drink wine.  Some ladies had Art Skills, others of us have never painted in a studio. It was a great evening of fun, and drinking.  Below are our finished products.  It was a great evening, and I believe I will try it again in the future.

Fancy Brynn.. Cont. .

Brynn continues to love Fancy Nancy! She will sit and read, and listen to Fancy Nancy books all day long.  We have read them so many times she has most memorized.  In addition to the ones we have we have been using the public library to view, and borrow some other books.   Each on the way to swim lessons we stop and get four new books. This week we stopped at Goodwill to look for any gently used books, and found a new Fancy Nancy Tutu.  While we were grocery shopping this week, B spotted Pink Pancake Mix.  She mentioned how that was so Fancy it was.  Since the mix was Cheap, since it was left over from V-Day we bought it and made a special morning of it.  It made her day, and we loved how excited she was about something so small.

Along with Fancy Nancy Brynn continues to love being a big sister, and wants to be with Madelyn at all times. She is jealous from time to time, but overall is compassionate and will do anything she can to help with her. She loves to share her snacks, help feed her a bottle and teach her new things.  One day this week, we had given M a bottle.  Madelyn was laying on a pillow, and Brynn picked her up and held her.  In return Madelyn often times will clap and giggle when she sees Brynn.

Father Daughter Dance

Each year Westover, our church, hostess a Father Daughter Dance around Valentines Day.  Matt took Brynn last year, and she enjoyed it so much the set out again this year.  He took her out to dinner to the place of her choice and then to the dance.  This year her restraunt choice was McDonald's and then to the Dance.  Below are pictures before they left.

8 Months Old

Madelyn is eight months old today!! Each day her sweet personality continues to develop along with hitting different milestones.  She truly is an amazing baby, and loves her sister more and more each day!

Sleeps:  7:30 to 5:45 (She  may wake up once, or may sleep through)
Naps:  Morning Nap and Afternoon Nap  (1.5 a piece)
Food: Mix of Puree and Table Food (Her favorite is pancakes,rice, or chicken)
Milestones: She is pulling up, standing up, and is to army crawl
Words: MaMa, DaDa, Bubba, Hey, Yeah
Enjoy: Bath, Pool, Brynn, and Snuggling at Night
Weight: 20.5 lbs :-) (Chucky, Happy Baby)
Dislikes:  Being Strapped into ANYTHING. (Carseat, Stroller, etc.. )

EATER

Madelyn loves to eat any type of pureed food we gave her. She also was becoming very intrested in what we were eating.  So, we began giving her tastes of what we were eating. Tasting was OK, but she always wanted more.  So we gave her more, and now she is eating most of the foods we are.  When she starts eating them it is hard to get her to stop. There are meals she out eats her sister. :-) We have tried: spaghetti, pizza, chicken, rice, noodles, bread, pancakes, green beans, fruits, etc. .  Needless to say she is now more intrested in table foods than her puree food.
